Mike w/ wife Nolleen

Michael Charles Divis is the preacher for the Northside church of Christ.
Mike began preaching part-time in Iowa during the winter of 1981. He preached once a month for a small group of Christians in Storm Lake, Iowa for two years and once a month for the Glass Street church of Christ during the year of 1983.

Mike was asked to work with the LeHeights church of Christ in Grand Island Nebraska, November 1983. He moved his wife and three children to Grand Island and began his first full-time work for the Lord January 1984. He worked with the Christians in Grand Island for two years.

On January 1986, Mike and his family moved to LaVista, Nebraska to work with the LaVista church of Christ until October 1994. Mike then moved to Arlington, Texas to work with the Northwest congregation. Desiring to move back to his boyhood home, Mike returned to Sioux City in May 1998.

Mike worked with the Glass Street church of Christ until he was asked by five families to assist them in starting a new work in Sioux City, Iowa. Mike accepted their invitation and has continued his work in Sioux City among the Christians at the Northside church of Christ.
